Hangzhou, which is hosting the 19th Asian Games, has ranked among the top three cities in China in terms of tourism popularity during the upcoming eight-day Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday, with travel orders up more than five times year-on-year. The local government says the city will see its highest number of tourists in recent years during the Asian Games.

With more than a week left from the holidays, the demand for tourism has shot up with the number of domestic travel bookings increasing by nearly five times year-on-year. Cities including Shanghai, Beijing, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Guangzhou, and Xi 'an are among the top ten popular destinations.

距離假期還有一周多的時間，旅游需求激增，國內(nèi)旅游預(yù)訂量同比增長近5倍。上海、北京、杭州、成都、廣州和西安等城市躋身十大熱門旅游目的地之列。

The hosting of the Asian Games has increased international air ticket bookings to Hangzhou by more than 20 times compared with last year, and the number of hotel bookings around event venues has increased by more than three times compared with last year.

亞運會舉辦地杭州的國際航班預(yù)訂量比去年增加了20多倍，賽事場館周圍的酒店預(yù)訂量比去年增加了3倍多。

Tickets for swimming, diving, table tennis, badminton and other popular events of the 19th Asian Games are almost sold out, according to travel agencies, adding that hotels, air and train tickets in host city Hangzhou and surrounding co-host cities Ningbo, Wenzhou, Huzhou, Shaoxing and Jinhua are in short supply.

據(jù)旅行社消息，第19屆亞運會游泳、跳水、乒乓球、羽毛球等熱門項目的門票幾乎售罄，主辦城市杭州以及周邊協(xié)辦城市寧波、溫州、湖州、紹興和金華的酒店、機(jī)票和火車票都供不應(yīng)求。

Tourists from Shanghai, Shenzhen, Chengdu, and Guangzhou outside Zhejiang Province, Ningbo, Wenzhou, Taizhou, Shaoxing and Jiaxing within the province, as well as Thailand, Singapore, South Korea, Japan and Malaysia, are the backbone to come to Hangzhou for travelling during the Games.

上海、深圳、成都、廣州、寧波、溫州、臺州、紹興、嘉興，以及泰國、新加坡、韓國、日本、馬來西亞等地的游客是亞運會期間來杭州旅游的主力軍。

“I bought several tickets for the Asian Games early, and I can't wait to go to Hangzhou with my family during the holiday to watch the games and experience the local customs,” said a tourist from Beijing.

一位來自北京的游客說：“我很早就買了幾張亞運會的門票。我已經(jīng)等不及和我的家人一起在國慶期間去杭州看一看比賽，體驗杭州當(dāng)?shù)氐娜宋娘L(fēng)情了?！?/p>

“I gave up my plan to go home for the long holiday and I decided to stay in Hangzhou and enjoy the atmosphere of the game,” a sports enthusiast surnamed Zhang, who works in Hangzhou, told the media. “I would rather stay here than spend more than usual air and hotel prices to travel,” he added.

“我放棄了回家過長假的計劃，決定留在杭州，感受亞運會的比賽氣氛。”在杭州工作的張姓體育愛好者告訴記者說:“我寧愿在這里，也不愿花比平時更高的機(jī)票和酒店價格出去旅行?！?/p>

From January to June 2023, Hangzhou received a total of 53.533,000 tourists and tourism income of 91.5 billion yuan, an increase of 64.5 percent and 65.3 percent over the same period last year respectively.

2023年1月至6月，杭州共接待游客5353.3萬人次，旅游收入915億元，同比分別增長64.5%和65.3%。
